The bay window needed a lot of work due to plant watering on that window seat for years. Last summer I had an ant infestation and decided to demolish the interior top of the window seat. The discovery of rot sent me to Angie's list. I called for 3 estimates and am delighted I selected Enda Cox. He and Andrew showed up exactly on time, they cleaned up each day, were so polite, informative and kind. And also very strong. Everything they said they would do was done with no additional surprises.

There are not enough good things we can say about Enda, but will try to capture the amazing job he did. He responded immediately to the email we sent requesting an estimate, and came out that week to look at the job. He was on time and asked a lot of questions about exactly what we wanted. He took some measurements, observed other woodworking details and gave us some ideas of what he was thinking would compliment both the house and our style. He emailed us an estimate a few days later, along with the references we requested. We spoke to his references, who all said the same thing, which was they would hire Enda again and again, they wished they had more work for him to do! (and we could not agree more!) He kept in contact with us during the 5 weeks it took for the doors to come in, letting us know when the doors came in and the plan for when he would begin work. He showed up that first morning exactly when he said he would, at 8 am with a smile and a new front. door. Each day he showed up with that same smile and more materials. Each night, he left the house as if he had never been here, materials put away and the area cleaned up. He explained everything he was doing, easily answered all of my questions and quickly moved through each stage of building. His work was precise, detailed, gorgeous and stunning . There was a slight glitch at the door factory and the wrong sized door was sent. Enda was on top of it, calling the representative each day to track the progress of the door. He was apologetic for the delay, and worked around it. As soon as the door was in, about a week after he started, he came back to install it. This turned out to be a much bigger job and more time consuming than he had planned on. He flawlessly finished the door, calling to let me know when he was done and the issues he encountered while working on it. I asked him to send me an invoice for the extra time and materials he had to use for the door, and he told me there would be no extra charges. The end result of both the porch and doors was a brilliant combination of what we had described to Enda of what we wanted and his brilliant interpretation of those descriptions and skill at his craft. He is a professional, his work is both breathtaking and shows he is a master at what he does. As I said, there are not enough words to describe the respect, admiration and thankfulness we have for Enda and the work he did. We cant wait to remodel our kitchen, and see the wonderful work Enda will do!

Enda completed three different projects at our home. We loved the work each time they finished a project that we have used them for each one since. 1. Ripped out old brick front steps and replaced with beautiful azek trim and composite decking steps and railings. Increased size of top platform and decreased the drop from inside of the house to the top platform to make them safer. 2. Replaced patio door with new Anderson version. Added molding around the door on the inside. 3. Replaced broken down back deck and steps. Replaced with PVC decking and PVC steps to the ground outside. Fixed all framing and supports on the deck as well. Enda was always prompt and spent full days at the job. Very friendly and willing to explain what they were accomplishing as they went along. The jobs were completed in a timely manner. The price was fair and the results far exceeded my husband and I's expectaions. We have received many compliements and been asked to share E. Cox Construction's contact information already!

A contractor that I had previously hired failed to finish the job. Cox Construction was recommended. Mr. Cox came to the house, estimated the cost to finish the job and not only finished the job within the time frame estimated, he came in under the cost. Workmanship was outstanding. He did such a great job I hired him the following summer to build a large outdoor patio covered by a 16'X32" overhead gazebo/trellis. My wife then decided she didn't like the color of the tile in the bath and Mr. Cox re-tiled the bathroom----also a wonderful job.
